This project includes the installation of a pondless waterfall, a multi-stone natural
gas fire feature and a new stone patio with mixed plantings. Over 30 tons of
stone was used to make the features in the project. The flat rock to the leftside
of the water feature is for a TV to sit on to watch Brown’s games. Walking past
the waterfall, visitors can enjoy the deer-resistant plantings of astilbe, barren
strawberry, ferns and ligularia. The clients said they didn’t use the patio much
prior to the renovation, but can now be found enjoying breakfast on it nearly
every morning. This beautiful patio space is now enjoyed year round!
Exscape designed and built an entertainment area which integrated into this
sloping backyard. The grilling station is positioned close to the house for easy
access to the kitchen and includes a refrigerator, trash drawer, and plenty of
storage. Raised planters flank a winding walk with broad steps which link the
lower space to the upper fire pit area. The firepit patio has a washed gravel
surface and is designed to have a rustic, campfire feel. The end result is an
inviting patio space that draws people out of the house to enjoy some time
outdoors with family and friends.

This family of four wanted a whole yard renovation of their classic home. The
front stoop was rebuilt and a new bluestone walk and colorful plantings were
installed. After rebuilding the back stoop and installing colorful concrete by the
garage, a small seating area was added. A lovely Chinese Dogwood that was
previously hidden is now thriving. A lush, secluded oasis was created to relax
and forget about the cares of the day.
